My wife and I were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary. We had planned to rent bicycles on Wednesday but a cold snap in Mid November prevented us. The next day was ideal with temps in upper 60s. We started at mile marker 3 and went to mile marker 14, turned around and came back to mile marker 3 for a total of 22 miles of bicycle riding. The land is pretty flat so it was not too much for 2 senior citizens. We stopped along the way to eat, talk to people and visit the public beaches. We made it a full day and we loved every bit of it. We went in November, off season, so we got a good deal on the bikes. Additionally, the trail was not crowed. The trail does cross the highway in places of beware of traffic.
