“Jungle Tour In Fort Pierce”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

We enjoyed our morning Jungle Tour. The party of four people enjoyed the relaxed kayaking in Fort Pierce with the excellent guides Linda and Dan. We never kayaked in the past and the motorized kayaks would be a good try, we chose the single kayak, they also have a tandem
choice.
Each kayak comes with vest, paddles, water bottle, and 2 batteries. The small battery is used for going down stream and the large battery for up stream. When you have the motor on you travel approximately 2 to 4 miles per hour, it seems fast going through the jungle canopy of mangrove trees.

Our trip lasted for 3 hours, very peaceful, the battery motors are very quite and easy to operate, at one point we used the paddles for a stretch of 15 minutes to appreciate how peaceful the environment is. We have seen lots of fish and birds. About half way of the tour we spend some time on a island for 15 minutes as Dan switched the batteries for the up stream portion of the trip. Linda was the guide on the island showing us the different mangrove plants and the variety of sand crabs.

One of the interesting thing about the tour was the absents of insects and this made it very enjoyable. On the trip back we had the privilege to be visited by a river dolphin. We are already planning our next trip. Kudos for the excellent job done by our guides Danny and Linda.

“Singularly Amazing Experience on the Indian River Lagoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

A rare chance to see honest to goodness pure Floridian nature and wildlife - guided by knowledgable and capable guides. our 4 children, aged 5-11 loved it. Having a river dolphin surface, multiple times, next to your kayak, is better than Disney any day! An activity not to miss while visiting the treasure coast!

“Danny and Linda truly make this an amazing, yet relaxing, experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

My husband, myself, and our 2 children (ages 4 & 7) spent a wonderful few hours kayaking through the mangroves of The Indian River Lagoon. We all enjoyed the ENTIRE experience, even as we took shelter in a mangrove during a downpour! It was relaxing, educational, and very insightful. My children have been more aware of ways to protect wildlife in the few days since our tour than ever before. It's amazing how much they absorb in such a short time.

Danny and Linda are absolutely wonderful. Their genuine love for what they do is evident from the first minute spent with them. This was an experience that we look forward to repeating during our next trip the Fort Pierce!

“It was awesome.”

We really enjoyed it. The boys stayed entertained. They are 12,13 and 14. I hope they offer fishing on them when we come back next year. The kakayas were easy to operate. Even the kids had no trouble.

“What an amazing time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

What an experience to glide across the lagoon, among the mangroves. So peaceful and serene. The guides are passionate about what they do. Motorized kayak was easy to learn. Spent an incredible 2 hours that just flew by. The stress of everyday life melted away. Better than a trip to the spa. This tour gives you a new appreciation for the incredible nature God gave us on this earth. I highly recommend this tour. You don't have to be an experienced kayak person to do this. Well worth the price.
