room was typical for a middle class beach hotel. one night that we went to the restaurant, pinchers, only one guy working. he was literally the hostess, order taker, server, bartender and busboy. I saw him loading dishes in the trays for the dishwasher. although apologetic, he was overwhelmed, and food took an hour. room was fine. tiki bar band singer could have refrained from using the f-word, considering kids were everywhere. no shuttle!

The employees are extremely friendly and warm. As you pass them they smile with an authentic "hello." Danny and Wesner at the front desk made me feel like I was a valued guest and went above and beyond to create a memorable stay. The pools are great. When I was there the man who ran the tiki bar/grill near the pool helped CARRY my food order up to my family's room. Who does that?! The food was great. They offer free DVDs to rent. They have a neat arcade. The views from the balcony facing the Gulf are fantastic. If you order through an online site, be careful. When the sites say that you have a "balcony with Gulf View" it can often be on the second floor where you can't see anything but the dunes. You have to get something on the third floor or above. A negative is that maintenance seems to be from an outside source or union. I felt bad for the work the front desk had to due to get the maintenance people to fix things. Whenever we called for extra towels they arrived very quickly. They also offer two free chairs and an umbrella each day. It is a wonderful place and (other than Maintenance) I hope they can keep things up in the manner they are doing now. I'm tempted to not post this because if people start going a lot then the room is going to be more expensive when I try to go!!

This was our least favorite hotel of the four we stayed at in Florida. The room was nice and no real complaints. It was clean, nicely decorated, and enough space to move around, Walls are a little thin. There was a baby staying in the next room and heard her crying several times. The hotel grounds need some repair and clean up. Busted door locks, dirty tiles, standing water puddles, and general disrepair were evident in several places. The pool area is for the party type and was always crowded. It is right next to the Tiki Bar. The prices at the restaurant seemed a bit pricey so we never tried it. It does not come with any type of breakfast which was disappointing. Best place to get coffee was 7-11, which there is an abundance of on the island. Bought this through a Living Social Deal but don't think I would stay here again. Too many other places to choose from.

Room Tip: Avoid a poolside room. It can be a bit loud since the bar is right next to the pool.

Loved our stay at this hotel! Room was clean, cool, and quiet! Staff were super helpful and accommodating. The restaurant, Pinchers, was delicious and the Tiki bar had great drink deals and situated perfectly between the pool and the beach! Easy to walk across the street to CVS and the trolley stop which took us everywhere we needed to go for super cheap! Would definitely stay again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed frozen concoctions at the Tiki Bar. Lovely beach and also enjoyed the pool. Nice quiet room, cool and comfortable. Great value and great location. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Enjoyed breakfast at Pinchers on site.

We stay at this hotel every year in December. Staff are excellent and so friendly. Tiki Bar is great. Rooms are clean and so comfortable. It is a great place to take a family get away! Food at restaurant is great.

Room Tip: Room facing the beach

Stayed one night , very nice place. Clean room, beautiful shower, very comfortable bed. Nice pool and the beach is right out the door. The floor in the room is tile and very clean. Great neighborhood also. No complaints about anything. I would surly stay here again should I return to Fort Myers Beach. This room is heaven compared to another room we had on this vacation at another hotel. Good job wyndam
