My family ( son 12 and wife) and I spent June 21-28 at this resort. Gorgeous, clean, opulent, spacious 2 bedrooms, living room, big jacuzzi, gorgeous fully equipped kitchen . . .

The staff are incredibly helpful.

The beach is pure white sand and teh refuge/ wetland adjacent kept the wildlife sites great . . tons of conch, all sizes fish, crabs, rays, a dolphin, schools of med. fish, more shells than you know what to do with.

Took WestJet down, rented from Thrifty- both efficient.
Breakfast at Waffle House up the road (Estero blvd) or s. until it hits Tamiami at teh Perkins (great dinner $) too . .

Lunch was a sandwhich from subway or food we make from teh Publix grocer.

A layback destination- water, sun and sand- great pool too.
We'll be back next year for sure- no regrets.

We loved our stay at Pointe Estero. We were on the 10th floor, with a wonderful view of the Gulf and the bay.

The place was immaculate, the kitchen was well equipped, the grills outside by the pool were great, the pool was nice, the beach was beautiful (very fine sand),.. We enjoyed the jacuzzi in the master bedroom and the fact that the screened balcony was accessible from the living room and the bedroom.

We highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing stay. There are not a lot of restaurants or shops nearby...you have to travel up or down the key and then head inland...but there's a good supermarket only a mile away.

Pointe Estero is absolutely beautiful!! We were there April 19th thru the 24th.We stayed in a one bedroom facing the gulf. Beautifully decorated and beautiful sunsets. Didn't even need air conditioning to sleep at night with the doors opened you wake up with the sound of the water. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definetely stay at Pointe Estero AGAIN.

My husband and I stayed at Pointe Estero Resort at the end of January 2008. I was so pleasantly surprised when we saw our accomodatons. We booked a one bedroom beachfront unit. This included a full kitchen, dining area with an adjacent screened in balcony, living room area, and a separate bedroom. There was a huge screened in balcony off of the living room area and bedroom. The views from the balcony were beautiful! We stayed on the lowest level of the resort and still had wonderful views. The pool was lovely and there was also a hot tub. There is no restaurant at this facility, however, there is a Holiday Inn just a short walk down the beach which has a restaurant and beach bar. There are also other restaurants nearby. This resort is centrally located close enough to Sanibel and Captiva, as well as Lover's Key, which all make for great day trips. We would certainly love to return to this resort for a future vacation!
