I am a resident of FMB and have frequented THE FISH HOUSE for years. The atmoshere is obviously great but, I have noticed the quality and quantity going down over the last several years along with prices going up.Not a good combo in these economic times! As far as the review from the people who were pleased that the server came to the parking lot to tell them that the gratuity was already included....
that should have been made clear by the server to the guests already. This has happened to me there before and is the reason our family won't be going back ,It is just like stealing. The management should have a better handle on those situations, perhaps by making sure the table is happy and then reiterating the fact that gratuity is already included incase the server is gready enough to hope for a double tip

We eat here all the time when visiting bonita beach. Consistently good. They even handled our party of at least 20 exceptionally well---the wait staff was extremely honest when they noticed that some of us added additional tip by accident (large party, tip already included)---even by running out to the parking lot to make sure they caught us! The outside looks like a shack, the inside looks like a shack, the patio is on the canal the food and service is spectacular. Cost is mid range.

Love eating here. These kind of restaurants are a dying breed. Outdoor seating with a good water view built in that Old Florida style ( a glorified fishing shack ). Fancy? No. Good food and service? Yes. Hamburgers and grouper sandwiches and an ice cold beer looking out over the waterways on a hot Florida day. Doesn't get any better in my opinion.

This was an awesome experience for us. We sat out on the covered deck and enjoyed some great drinks and fabulous food. Whatever you order, it will taste fantastic. There food comes with a homemade sauce (varies depending on what you order), but they are great. It sets back behind a strip mall. If you take the trolly (or drive) from the casa playa resort through town a mile or so past, the strip mall will be on your left. Park there and walk behind it. It sets on the bay. An experience you won't regret.
