“Heather is gone, but Rachel is very good.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

It's been a year since we've been back at the Fish House in Fort Myers beach and the first thing we asked for was Heather our server from last year. She is gone, but we had Heather. A very nice and caring young lady. It seems that the servers here are much better trained and knowledgable than some other restaurants around Fort Myers beach.

Nice salad, $3.99 like last night at another local restaurant, but you get the cucumber, tomatoes, etc. a real salad. The meals were perfect Tuna and coconut shrimp, both with flavorful sauces. The seaweed salad with the tuna should be a salad offering. Very, very good. Drink specials 3-6 daily and all day Sunday. Only real negative thing about this restaurant and others on the island, the management should be around interacting with the customers, but I guess they leave that to the servers and food runners. See you in a week.

“TASTELESS FRIED SHRIMP AND PAN FRIED SCALLOPS”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

The view was great once you found the place. Prices are a little on the high side for plastic "silverware". It was the worst shrimp and scallops I can remember eating in a long time. It took 3 paper towels to blot the oil off 6 medium shrimp. They were just "tasteless"-no other way to describe them. The scallops were described as pan fried with a butter wine sauce We took this to mean they were not breaded, but they were breaded and they too were simply tasteless-not that sweet wonderful taste of scallops. There are too many good seafood restaurants around to ever return here.

“Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

Great Bloodys! Nice location, right on the water and in walking distance from my Uncle's condo. Food is ok, oysters good, but found some grit in mine. Salad with the Grouper was tasty! Staff is friendly and helpful.

“Just OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

We tried the Fish House because locals said it had the best Grouper Sandwich...something we wanted to find! Two of us ordered the grilled grouper and found it absolutely flavorless and dry. Husband ordered the blackened grouper and was far more satisfied. The fried oysters were good, but a large piece of shell was in the mix - we know that happens sometimes, so no big deal except that a tooth got bruised. The key lime pie was tart, good. Waitress not very sure of menu offerings - our daughter has a gluten allergy - and had to keep checking.
