We were a group of six and wanted to have dinner, so we checked out Restaurants on line.

Some of the things that were written about Mantanzas were not very nice and we almost did not go.
Would have been a big mistake. The food was excellent., the atmosphere was great and the service...........Just ask for little Rachel and she will take care of you.

I must say you cannot always believe everythng you read.
Some people are never happy no matter what.

So glad I read the reviews AFTER we visited or I probably would not have gone. Had dinner there last weekend. Excellent food, superb service. Not one complaint from me.

Would visit again!

We were disappointed - service was awful, they kept giving us the excuse they were "busy", it was a Friday night in February what where they expecting? The food was overpriced and tasted average. We will not be going back, much better restaurants to choose from on FMB.

It is amazing how a once very decent restaurant can go to the level that Montanzas has gone in just a few years. What a shame that no one in the kitchen is in charge to make sure that a half decent meal is served to the patrons. We tried Montanzas for dinner this past January and what they served us wasn't fit for human consumption!!! Wake up Montanzas you have a beautiful back bay location please spend some money and HIRE A QUALITY CHEF to run your kitchen!!!!!
