What a dump. We stayed one night, and couldn't wait to leave in the morning. The place is disgusting. Everything is old & falling apart. We changed rooms THREE times before getting one that didn't have a sewer smell, or no running a/c. The place is noisy. The desk people are rude. And all for $175! What a rip off. Stay away!!!!!!

I have never in my life stayed in such a sty. It was filthy, loud, and the staff was rude. There was even a curly little black hair in my sheets when I folded down the comforter on the first night..and I have straight blonde hair! The door of my room didn't shut completely, and you couldn't have paid me enough to walk on the floors barefoot. There were drunks everywhere and the smell of beer permeated the hallways. The Lanai Kai claims to be a family resort, but you'd have to hate your family to bring them here.

This was a really nasty hotel! The rooms were dirty and there was really loud music playing all day and each nite until 2am. This was the worst hotel I have ever visited. Do not trust the photos of this resort...they look nothing like the real thing.

My husband and I stayed here and we hated the place! The room was dirty, The place is a dump. It is nothing at all what the internet pictures showed. There was no room service, no slot machines, no hot water in the shower just luke warm. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling down. The door to our room was kicked in at one time so our key card hardly ever worked. We had to listen to people fighting all nite in the room next to us. The phone was`nt working so we could`nt even call to report the problem. The patio door was so messed up we had to lift it to open it, it would`nt even slide open for us. We will never stay there again and we won`t even recommend this hotel to any one. STAY AWAY !!!!
