“GREAT FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

Thereis actually 2 restaurants here. Nervous Nellies is on the ground floor, with dining. Uglys is above, with dining and sports bar. We ate upstairs at Uglys. Both serve the same menus, very large menus. The evening we were there, our party of 4 ate grouper and shripm dinners. An up close magician named Magic be Frank, was doing unbelievable tricks at the tables.

“Favorite Ft. Myers Beach restaurant from a local”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

Great ambiance includes view of busy Matanzas Pass and live music on outside deck. There is also an upper deck which has been recently enlarged. Food is excellent and portions are huge. You can easily share anything on the menu. The best tavern ribs I have ever had are a bargain at $18 because I get 3 meals out of them. Don't forget to ask for the corn bread which is complimentary appetizer. Dine on weekend nights and you may be entertained by Frank the magician. He totally mesmerized us with his card tricks at the table. There is limited dockage if you want to come by boat. Service may be a bit slow during busy hours in season, but staff is very friendly and helpful.

“Local's favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

Take it from a local. This is our favorite waterfront restaurant. Ambiance includes great view of busy Matanzas Pass. Eat outside, either upstairs on balcony or downstairs by water, to enjoy live music. Food is excellent and servings are huge. You can easily share anything on menu. The tavern ribs are the best ever. At $18, it's a real deal as we get 3 meals out of it. Service may be slow at prime hours in season, but staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are there for dinner on weekends, you may be entertained by Frank the magician. We were totally mesmerized by his card tricks. Come by boat for good dockage for limited number of boats. I am a local and love to take groups of friends there in my boat.
