This hotel is owned by the Flamingo Inn, which is right across the street. I liked that this place is down the beach a bit, away from the kid-infested Times Square area. It's right across the street from the beach, which is great. Check in was a little odd - I was ignored for about 10 minutes while a woman in another room helped guests find a suitable room. The person who checked me in came upstairs only at the beckon of a ringing phone. The room was great - nice big living area, decent speed wi-fi, full kitchen with full size fridge/freezer, nice bedroom, ok bathroom. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was barely big enough to turn around in. But all in all, this was a decent place to stay. There is a big open porch on the back side that has a pretty view on the canal. I liked the little picnic/sitting area outside.
