“Fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

Went to Bonita Bills twice during our stay in Ft. Myers Beach. First time was for breakfast, the food was great, nice atmosphere to be able to sit outside in the morning. Even saw some dolphins in the bay. A few days later we came back for dinner. Live music was wonderful. Laid back, relaxing place to just enjoy the water!

“Local bar with a great vibe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

This is more of a local patronized place, not fancy. Boats slips out front for extended stays and docks for short visits to Bills. The draft beer cold and the shrimp fresh and by the pound for the peel and eat. The coconut shrimp was also very good. Can handle a good crowd at night with live bands. In the daytime there was a guy strumming away and singing, great stuff. Order you food and drink at the bar and a cash only establishment (ATM on site). Just a great Florida place that I was looking for.

“Beautiful waterfront spot with great food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013 via mobile

Didn't realize inexpensive no frills fare could outshine several other (20-35% more expensive) meals eaten over the weekend. Truly pet friendly- you can eat anywhere you want with your pet. Great atmosphere, great view, laid back style. Definitely going back.

“Waterside local hang out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013 via mobile

Bonita Bills is a local bar on the bayside with a amazing views , you can dock your boat and grab a beer . It's rustic and a bit rough round the edges , but it's a local bar full of characters . You order food from bar , eat off disposable plates and clear your own table . The food is good , they do a great fish sandwich really fresh . There is often local music being played . It's not fine dining , but the beer is cold , views amazing so come hang out with the real people of Fort Myers beach .

“"Rustic" & very casual with a view”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

Beware....cash only. Order at the window. Food was ok. I had the fish sandwich (it was swai....could have got that cheap at the grocer back home...I guess without the view). Also did the fried shrimp....shrimp boats are RIGHT here at the docks, but I guess the fried is frozen (really tiny and WAY too much batter). Guys liked the $5 wings and $1.50 beers. Very friendly locals dine here. We did a late (2 p.m.) lunch, but I hear this place is hoppin' at night. You want local?....this is for you!
