Our family stumbled onto Sunsetride.com while trying to find something extra special for our three young daughters to enjoy during our stay in Fort Myers Beach. From the moment we contacted Captain Mark, we really felt at ease from setting up the date and time of our trip until we said goodbye during our wonderful day on the water.
We had already been frequent vacationers of Fort Myers Beach in the past, but his knowledge along with First Mate Terresa was so welcome because of the many places to visit and eat in the area. Suggestions of "local favorites" are always welcome ideas for us.
However, their biggest asset is their ability to bring joy to families like mine with their knowledge of the waters in the area, attracting dolphins and manatees, and shelling in what seemed like a mile from the actual coast on a spacious sand bar. Those were probably the three main points we enjoyed the most, but Captain Mark and First Mate Terresa's attention to detail are what make a good trip, GREAT. They taught our children so much about the different shells they were finding on the sand bar. Also, they brought snacks and drinks on board for us to enjoy in case we needed them (and we did). Personally, my favorite extra was the fantastic music playing in the background. It really felt like a party.
We have another trip lined up during our next visit and our children are so excited. I'm sure it will be the highlight of our stay in Fort Myers Beach once again. It's always nice to have one of those "can't lose" days lined up!
