We have been here 4 times went to 1 other place in Fort Meyers Beach just didnt have the same feel. Very comfortable place with a very big beautiful beach with the best place to watch the sunset.The Tiki Bar is a major plus with great Bar staff and friendly guests.

OK, I am fussy as I'm a Travel Agent but I liked this place and for what I paid I wasn't expecting much - I was pleasantly surprised!

Initial thought on arrival was - tiny recption but lovely staff - corridors to room were a bit drab but the room was a lovely surprise - I paid double for a room half the size in Sarasota and the same standard the year before!

Kitchen area was very well equipped and I could have spent longer than the 3 nights booked however the beds were def past their best - new mattreses were arriving whilst we were there though!

The hotels Wifi was great - better than any of the other hotel on our trip (including NYC, Cruise, Miami and Orlando). I don't like sand or sun so I was happy in my little airconditioned room with the beautiful view over the beach whilst surfing the net - my son, his friend and my other half loved the beach and pool however. The pool shuts at 9pm which I though was early but we were all tired by 8.30pm - must be the sea air - my son is always up late but not here!
Housekeeping were lovely and polite - didn't really deal with the other staff.

The Tiki Bar was in a lovely position and had a great atmosphere however on 2 occassions we went there the staff were grumpy and pretty unhelpful - more so the man who worked the evening - but we all have a bad day hey!
The Tiki Bar did get a bit loud at night but it closes at 10 so this certainly wasn't an issue - I think some security could have been needed if any busier as there was quite a few of very drunk people on our last night including a man openly urinating up a fence on the walkway to the beach - literally feet away from the bar.

I fell in love with the area and will def be returning!

We stayed at the Outrigger Beach Resort on the recommendation of a friend. The stay exceeded our expectations. It is in a beautiful location on the beach. The room was very clean and well supplied. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price for the high quality that we got was extremely reasonable.

My husband and our 2 daughters spent 5 nights at the Outrigger Bay January 13-18, 2012 and we had such a GREAT time. The hotel is splendid and the view is out of this world! It was our daughters first time at the beach and ocean and they certainly didn't want to leave!
We had excellent service, and we especially loved Phil in the Tiki Bar..he is outstanding and we even got our picture with him..keep up the great work! We will definitely be back!
