“Wonderful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2011

The Seaside Beach Resort in Ft Myers has trully everything you need for an enjoyable family vacation. We rented 3 villas and had the most wonderful time. We are a really low maintence family and all we really need is a clean roon, the beach and a BBQ grill. There is also a pool which was nice. The rooms were clean, (2 bedroom suites). Management was really nice and accomodating. Ask for Monica she was really cool! All in all, it is a cozy small resort and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend!.

TIP: If you go in the summer make sure you take mosquito repelent cause after 7:00pm the will eat you alive.

We were so happy we found the Seaside. We usually stay closer to the pier, but wanted a more quiet, family atmosphere. Our condo was a corner unit and the view was just beautiful! We could see up and down the beach and the sunsets were just breathtaking. We could see stingrays and dolphins from our balcony and bedroom windows. It was enough room for our family of five, and they decor was very nice. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and having the Publix across the street was great. The only change I would make would be to take out the glass table top in the living room since it was a pain to move when the couch needed to be opened. Pat and Andrew were very nice and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. We were even lucky enough to have a covered parking space. We will definitely be going back next year!

Room Tip: A corner unit is worth the extra money! We loved the top floor!

We have vacationed in Fort Myers Beach several times. A friend recommended us try Seaside so we decided to give it a shot. Not only were the prices far more affordable, the beach, pool and grocery store was a short walking distance too! Our condo had everything we needed (including games, cards, books, music) and we enjoyed watching dolphins swimming right out of our screened in balcony! The depth of the water was another plus. We have three young children and they were able to touch the bottom for several feet to look for shells and sand dollars without us worrying that the current would pull them out. Great time!

Stayed for 5 nights and loved it. After searching for 3 days from Naples to Sanibel Island on beach hotels and resort and thanks to a previous positive feedback from another satisfied individual, we found the perfect place with 100% satisfaction rate. The apartment was like new all around. Beautiful Kitchen , leather furniture , 2 rooms a the best of all .... The ocean view, so close you can hear the waves with the windows closed. Another plus , you can cross the road and walk to Publix. We want to thanks the Management Personal , Pat, Monica Andrew and Steve for such a wanderfull customer service experience and we recommend this place as your future vacation destination. Rick and Romy # 104.

Elevator kept malfunctioning, was fixed twice but kept acting up. Room smelled musty, humid, dirty. Room was in distress, needs to be remdeled, Carpet filthy and smelly, furniture smelled as if a wet dog had slept on it. bathrooms, rooms, curtains, window-sills where loose and rusty. A/C not coming out of all vents, Yes i could have called and complained to administration but all these issues where not going to be resolved, another room was out of the question all where booked. Oh and I forgot the screened door was missing the screen. No many negatives to point out. Will try to stay somewhere else next time.
