Dined here with my wife on 2/15. Arrived at approximately 5:00pm, sans reservations and were still seated promptly. We started with two appetizers. The calamari were a little more than "Lightly breaded" as advertised, but were OK. The Salt and Pepper Tuna was exquisite in both presentation and flavor. I would return just for that alone. For entrees, we both had a taste for the Black Grouper which was wonderfully prepared, meaty, and delicious. The side of garlic mash for me was, as others have commented, an ice cream scoop. Part of me wants people to "get over themselves" and the better part of me would say that the presentation is lacking ....... if portion control is the issue, perhaps find another shape/form to improve the asthetics of the dish. The Bleu Cheese Slaw was interesting ..... we both received it but they looked and tasted different from one another. When the server was questioned, he stated that it is made fresh, several times daily and we received the end of one batch and the beginning of the next. Not what I would serve to the same table, but oh well. The "newer" batch was, of course, tastier. No room for dessert, although
Service was timely and friendly.
If there are truly 23 better restaurants in Ft. Myers, I am going to have to return for a "Taste Tour". Kudos to everyone at Blue Pointe!
