While vacationing along the gulf shores of Florida, I ran across a Groupon for this with pretty good reviews, and since the Groupon was for $35 worth of food, we decided to go here and check it out, wanting to see what an authentic Greek restaurant would offer. We ate early bird style to avoid any crowds, and arrived at 3:45 on a Tuesday. One family was finishing up when we walked in, and another family came in after the first family left, so there were only 2 tables needing a waiter at any time. There were 2 tables also by the door outside for dining as well, although no one was sitting there. I ordered the Greek pita platter, a Greek salad which was crisp and delish, with a gyros. The gyro tasted just the same as a 50's diner did back home -- good, but nothing real outstanding. My husband had the Greek Chow Mein with Gyros meat. It was good and had generous portions. We split a piece of baklava which had the yummy fresh honey sauce pooling around it. I had a milk and hubby had a Corona, and our bill would have been $38.58, but since we had our Groupon the total was just the $3.58, making our meal just $25 by the time the tip and Groupon and extra amount owed totaled. We felt good about the total cost, but think that the overall cost of $38.58 was a bit overpriced for it overall. The Groupon coupon made this good overall! What was most interesting is the apologies of the server: first for bringing the pita and oil dipping sauce late, (after my salad was gone) and again at the end of the meal, also apologizing for not being around as much as he could have, but with only 2 tables, he said he just couldn't be that attentive. (???!) didn't make sense to us!
