Went with a group of eight expecting greatness and got prettygoodness. The ambiance of the home and gorgeous garden and decor coupled with waiters in tuxes was amazing. Loved the corn mini muffins and red pepper jelly, but had to ask for more, never got more iced tea, and our caesar salad was off-way too much hot mustard powder that wasn't mixed in well in places and the waiter didn't really care and was quite defensive and aloof even.
Loved the spicy house dressing with pepperoncini that someone else had. Food was good, but expected something a bit more inspired on the veggies w/the chateaubriand besides hunks of grilled peppers and tomatoes w/cheese on top. Chocolate pate was rich and perfect & creme brulee was not overcooked which is often the case.
All in all, would for sure go again for a special occasion. It is on the pricey side, but not at all outrageously expensive considering entrees include salads and the place itself is heavenly. Wish for better service, the waiter was running around all over, but needed an assistant or someone to stop in occasionally to refill water and bread and check in.
Definitely worth another visit soon.
