“The Cheers of fort Myers”

Best food and friendly atmosphere. Open all daylong. Many different beers on draft. Burgers are great but short rib quesadilla is the best.

“Spectacular”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

Friends and I vacationed in Fort Myers for a week. This was by far the best meal we had. It was better than the more expensive restaurants. Service was awesome. The veggie burger was delicious. The hand cut fries were perfect. I usually do not care for hand cut fries because they tend to come undercooked. The fries were sliced thin and deep fried to perfection. Well worth the extra calories. My friend had the Fish BLT with a side salad. Both were very good. The salad was substantial with cheese and some veggies.

The only complaint...way too cold. The air conditioning was blasting. There is outside seating, but it was too windy to sit outside that day.

“Stop here for quick bite on the way to airport”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

We had 40 mins for lunch. We opted to dine outside and were handed menus on our way to the table. Our server approached us for drinks and we told her of our time crunch. She asked us what we were thinking of ordering. We gave her 3 diff options and she told us the grilled club sandwich would be quickest so we decided to go with that. Within minutes she brought our sandwich which we were splitting and it was more than enough for us. The club is on a Hawaiian type bread which was grilled nicely. The sandwich was stuffed with turkey, home roasted turkey including white and dark meat, just like Thanksgiving. There was also some ham, bacon, Lettuce, tomato and mayo. On the side was HUGE helping of hand cut fries, which were crisp and had a generous sprinkling of salt and pepper. Very tasty. 2 beers and a soda and our bill was under $21 and most importantly we left with 10 mins to spare. Great little lunch spot.

“One of my favorites”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013 via mobile

I live in Ft Myers and go to Fat Katz regularly. The food is great, all fresh. Gumbo is a specialty and offered on occasions. Definitely worth it! They have 10 tv's inside and another on patio. Service is usually outstanding.

“Great find , great food”

Awesome wings, cold beer on tap and bottles. Had the meatloaf sandwich, just like mom used to make. Lots of TV's, give it a try
