Food is definitely “ladies lunching”—beautiful salads, soups, sandwiches and desserts. The combinations (sandwich/salad, soup/salad) include a savory scone, which can be exchanged for a sweet. A bit of “Devonshire cream” on this sweet scone (today it was cranberry/macadamia)makes a lovely finish. During my first visit, I had ordered the vanilla chai and was very happy. This time, a chocolate chai was offered. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing selection. One of the things I really enjoy about this tea room is that they realize that milk, not cream, should be served with tea. Wisteria can get noisy—but it’s a happy noise!
