“A unique and picturesque drive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

Start on the south end at the intersection of College Parkway and McGregor and head north. A beautiful palm lined drive awaits. Keep it at 30-35 mph, and pay attention to the side streets of this Blvd that parallels the river, but is hidden except for a quick glimpse at Whiskey Creek. Stop at Cristof's for a meal (McGregor and Colonial), then keep going up to the winter homes of Thomas Edison and Harvey Firestone. Take a tour...it's great! A neat little journey that you will remember.

“Beautiful!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

This is the reason they call Fort Myers the city of Palms. The royal Palms that line the road are stunning! I felt like royalty walking from the Edison and Ford estate to our downtown destination. The traffic moves really fast though. Be careful when crossing.

“Tropical Florida”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2012

The drive on McGregor Boulevard is my favorite place in Fort Myers. It says so much about Florida's wonderful past and how it continues in the present.

“Just go this way......”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2012

.....and don't take 41 or I-75 if you can travel this road...cause it's a beauty. If coming from the south, pick it up at College and go north to the Edison Estate. You'll be glad you did!
