We have stayed at this location during January and February. It has easy access to just about anything, and you are very near the airport and I-75. You won't find a kinder and more efficient staff, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable!
The breakfast selections are great, and they offer four dinners per week, Monday through Thursday! There are also a couple of nearby restaurants within walking distance. You won't be disappointed, we're returning next winter!

My wife and I arrived at this hotel the afternoon of January 17, 2013. We were promptly checked into room 224 by an efficient and very friendly desk staff. I don't think we were in the room more than 10 minutes before the front desk called to make sure everything was satisfactory. At that time, all was ok. When we checked in we were informed that the water for the property was to be shut off from 4-9 pm to correct a water pressure issue. We weren't too happy about that prospect, but we prepared for it by filling some glasses with water and obtaining ice from a convenient ice machine. The shut off seemed to have been resolved quickly as far was we could tell because we did not experience any real loss of water that we could tell. However, that evening when my wife ran some water for a bath we noticed a lot of sediment in the bath tub, that despite running the water for awhile, would not go away. She decided to skip the bath, and went to bed. I called the front desk and asked if anyone else had complained about this issue and was told that no one had. Seemed strange to me that it could be isolated to this room. The next morning we took showers and still experienced this sediment problem, it seemed like sand in the water.

Before checking out, I took the time to write some comments about our stay directed to the attention of Ms. Victoria Stawicki, Guest Services Manager of the hotel. I wanted her to know that the hotel had some sort of a problem, I assume as a result of the water shutoff, that needed to be investigated as it would impact other guest's satisfaction as well.

I wasn't really expecting to hear anything back about my comments, but to my pleasant surprise, Ms. Stawicki exemplified what we consider the ultimate in customer care as she took the initiative to not only call our home and leave a message (because we were in transit back home) but she also followed-up with an e-mail to address the issue and resolved the situation to our complete customer satisfaction. Some people only talk about customer service, but Ms. Stawicki not only believes in it, she lives it!!

Other than this one problem we encountered, the hotel is a great place to stay. The next morning, we took advantage of the very spacious breakfast area and had a most enjoyable meal prior to our departure. The evening before, we had arranged for the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel to take us to the airport. We arrived at the lobby a bit early, and found that the driver was already there so we left 15 minutes early. The gentleman was extremely pleasant to talk with during our 10 minute drive to the airport.

As a result of the outstanding customer service performed by Ms. Stawicki, we will again stay at this Homewood Suites and recommend it to others as well.

We stayed 2 nights in January, 2013. (If driving there, keep in mind the actual address doesn't work with GPS; we had to phone and they gave us an alternate street address to use.) Check in staff excellent and called our room to see if all was okay.
Room was clean, spacious and our King bed very comfortable. If you want to cook, the kitchen is well supplied and nice dishes, good sized fridge and dishwasher. The light evening meals were good enough (breaded tilapia one night and fried chicken the next), with a small salad selection as well, steamed vegetables. Had the red wine which was enjoyable enough. Serving staff friendly and all kept clean and well stocked. And all "real" dishes, glasses and cutlery. Good breakfast choices the one morning we were there; we had a very early flight the next morning (a "breakfast in a bag" to go, like some hotels have, would have been nice). Large seating area for eating (numerous of the dining chairs could use shampooing). We returned our car the evening before we left and took the shuttle to the hotel, then got on the first shuttle at 4:30 am to the airport. Quick ride (10 mins). Would definitely stay again and recommend.

We arrived at the Ft. Myers Airport at 10 pm after a long day of travel. This hotel was super convenient to catch a good night's sleep before our Florida vacation. Clean, nice, and well-priced. We had no problems with our stay. Had room 422, which is a full suite with king bedroom, living room, and kitchen.
