The supper club style of restaurant has been gone for some time. It is difficult to manage this sort of venue. The first question is will anyone come the first time. Better question is will they come again. Roadhouse has kept growing and improving throught the most difficult economy only to come out on top as it improves. They deserve their reputation and work hard to maintain it.
The duo, a piano and singer, were superb with a good range. It is an older crowd but it is definitely not the nursing home crowd you see at some places. People were dressed up for the most part...not coat and tie but dressy casual, which is nice to see in Fort Myers.
Food was delicious and there wasn't a complaint at the table. I had carpaccio and a beet and goat cheese salad. Both delicious. Scallop entree was perfect. Nice wine selection and service.
