“Inattentive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2011

Our waiter disappeared and forgot our dessert as well as what we could not eat. The rest of the staff was very accommodating . Not impressed with our main course but loved the tomato and mozzarella salad. Best I have tasted in a long time. Loved the live music. Ambiance makes me willing to try it again to see if better selection of food yields better experience.

“Smooth, very smooth....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2011 via mobile

When we went in folks were sitting at the piano with drinks having a good laugh, singing along and dancing to an excellent pianist, the waiting staff were very attentive and we felt very welcome. I started with the scallops which tasted fantastic followed by the double cut pork loins with garlic mash which was out of this world, the piece of pork was massive and cooked to perfection (I'd thoroughly recommend it) whilst eating a singer had joined the pianist playing smooth jazz and blues, very nice addition to the great atmosphere! Excellent evening.

“Superb food, service, and atmosphere.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2011

Superb food, service, and atmosphere, is what you will find at the roadhouse. It didn't take long to know that this restaurant was going to be excellent. When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner, Sherry, who runs the front of the house, as her husband , Mark [chef] handles the kitchen. This husband and wife team pays attention right down to the last detail. Being a [foodie], I can say this food stands second to none, the service is spot on and their happy hour won't be beaten. Come and see for your self, you'll fall in love with this restaurant.

“Great HH”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2011

Bang for you Buck, it doesn't get any better than the Roadhouse in Fort Myers. It's great at any time, actually, but the HH is a great value. The 2 for 1's and a their very generous hh food menu can't be beat. Arrange a cab ride and make a night of it !

“Don't miss this restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2011

Wow! As the restaurant is located in a strip mall, I wasn't expecting much. What a wonderful surprise! The "hostess" turned out to be the delightful owner. If you like excellent food and live jazz, definately don't miss this restaurant. The decor is surprising complete with rugs on the floor, jeweled hurricane candles; even the bathrooms are decorated! But the food! The grillled portabello mushroom with tomato, mozarella and chipotlle sauce appetizer has just enough kick to be delicious. I had Cappelini D'angelo, yummy. Generous portions. Reasonable drink prices also. Highly recommend. Some people were quite dressed up, but we felt perfectly comfortable in shorts. Dress up or dress down, either is fine. I felt the cost was low, and the service / food were the quality of fine dining.
