We were in Ft. Lauderdale for the night and saw this swanky spot right across from the beach. It looked cozy with cushiony lounge chairs right next to the sidewalk which was great for ppl watching. What drew us in we're the size of the margaritas and the 2-4-1 deal. We were hooked! Unfortuantely, everything else is downhill from there...
We told the server we were deciding on eats so he brought us out margaritas in the meantime. We almost walked to the liquor store down the street to add more tequila to our sweet and sour flavored water. That was the WORST margarita I've had in my life. And not just for the lack of tequila, it was watered down and very hard to drink. In fact, we didn't finish either of ours. Since the server never returned to get our dinner order, we decided to leave. We got the check (finally) and saw our 2-4-1 was really $23. Really. It doesn't take a genius to figure out they just doubled the cost of their already horrible margarita.
I can't say anything about the food since we never got any, the ambience was very cool, the server was below par, and the margarita (we both got the classic which made Sangria's "famous") was just horrribly gross. The only reason we didn't give them back was we tried really hard to like them and drank them down a little too far so we weren't comfortable doing that.
It seemed like everyone else had a great experience here on trip advisor, perhaps we just got a bad night.
