I booked this hotel for use by my team of twelve men while we assembled our stands for the British Marine Industry at the Ft Lauderdale Boatshow in October 06.
A friendly and welcoming place to stay in a prime position on the sea front, close to restaurants while far enough from the bars for some peace at night. The staff were always helpful and courteous. The rooms were well appointed with all including a fridge, sink and kitchen area. On initial inspection on arrival by myself, I found the rooms neat, tidy and clean. The towels displayed in a most pleasing manner. The air conditioning worked well in all the rooms we booked and controlled the temperature very well. Hotel breakfast: Quite adequate and fair to good quality with fresh coffee, Bagels and jams with fruit in a side dish. My only suggestion here would be for a greater range of jams (ie Peanut butter and maybe Marmite or Marmarlade (Orange). But all in all, my staff or hungry working men ate every morning (0700 hrs) prior to working thru to 1 pm and never complained.
Suggestion for the future; If the Hotel was willing to bid for a drink licence, to sell beer, it would be an advantage for all.
This hotel provides good value for money when one considers it's location and season.
