My wife and I had a very nice, spacious efficiency when we stayed here for a family wedding. After growing up in Fort Lauderdale, I expected an "old style" beach hotel, which is what this is -- a vanishing breed. We were very pleased with the accomodations and got what we anticipated. If you prefer modern, air-tight accomodations, this is not for you. Moreover, this hotel is not a place to stay if you plan on hanging out at their pool most of the time -- but if you like waking up to the ocean and coming back to the hotel in between (or after) excursions, it's a great deal.

The room didnt look anything like the pictures. The bathroom was BAD! Mold all in the grout. The shower curtin was pink and black. The curtain rod was rusty. There was stuff spilled down the wall in the bathroom and black finger prints on the bathroom door and door frame. The lamp shades were dusty and the floor didnt look like they had a vacume. There was also a gap around the whole door into our room. I can say the sheets and towels were clean. The front desk people were very nice and helpful. I guess the only complaint we had was with the clwaning staff. They did come back and clean again and gave us a new shower curtain. Unfortunatly it looked the same when they were done. So if you stay here I would sugest you bring some clorox. If you dont plan on spending a lot of time in your room its not a bad place to stay.

Nice for the money.Location is fine, you can walk to most places or take the bus up an down the beach.The smaller hotels along this part of the beach are all older or closing.The small bugs that some complain about are not a big problem but they are in every place you go down there.They do own several building in back of the main hotel,I would try to stay up front in main building by beach.Would stay again if price was right.

This hotel was horrible. I stayed there for a business trip and it was nasty! I only stayed there one night and complained to expedia, so they reserved another room for us at the Hilton in Sunrise, FL.
My hotel room had 4 pieces of plywood boarded up in the room. The shower did not work. My power went out in the hotel room and it took the maintenance man an hour to fix the electricity.

DO NOT STAY HERE. IT WAS HORRIBLE.
