“The worst hotel stay ever would never do it again”

We made our reservation three months prior to our trip for a bigger room at a cheeper rate but when we got there we were moved to a smaller room. The wait at the desk was long for check in but Diane was very nice. The room itself was very dirty we had to ask for vaccuum and do it ourselves and we had to ask for towels four times. The people in the front building had bites from head to toe due to having bed bugs. They looked under the sheets and said they had never seen anything like it before.They said that there was bed bugs every where and they were big. We went to have breakfast and unless you like ants with food I wouldnt eat it. The pictures online do not look anything like it. It was so bad that we left early even though it was paid for in advance. I would never tell anyone to stay there.

Let's see where do i start..
My taekwondo team came down here to stay for the week. and one, the doors would not lock and our rooms were completely open to anyone who would like to come in. Two. (( two words exactly)) BED BUGS!!!!!! There were cockroaches crawling up the walls.. Crickets in the bathroom. and it totally grossed all of usout..
My brother felt like, at anytime, that Freddy Cruger was going to pop out of the closet...
This hotel is disgusting. And the staff were so0o0o RUDE!! They wouldn't even give my mom towels because we put a do not disturb sign on our door just because we were afraid that they would STEAL our stuff!!!...

It's in a horrible part of town.. Not safe AT ALL!!

Check in: Rose offered us the world she is very kind and dependable.
Apartment: Very clean,we did not have maid service but just having the washer/dryer in the room was perfect..The price was So So Fair. It was me and my husband and my 95 year old mother and we had separate rooms to sleep plus kitchette, etc.The beach was only a few feet away and the restaurant (casa blanca) was across the street and very goumet and very reasonable. Because the price is so fair we are returning in a few weeks and also made reservations near Christmas time. I told my husband and he agreed it was the best vacation we have ever had. There was a calmness about everything that made us relaxed, secure, and well rested. Linda from Leesburg

My boy scout troop and I stayed at the Waterfront Inns for two seperate nights. My roommates and I thought the Hotel was very nice and affordable and served our purpose excellently. The staff was friendly, especially Dianne at the front desk who helped us check in and get situated. The location was excellent, being right across from the beach and only a few minutes walk from excellent shops and dining. We'll probably be staying at the Waterfront Inns in the future.

The pictures of this place and of the Tropic Cay (which are right next door to each other and are owned by the same person) are completely false. When we checked into our rooms, one of the rooms' galley windows didn't close and the air conditioner was too small for the room (maintenance said this, not us). Then they switched our rooms and that air conditioner didn't even work. It was ridiculous. We demanded our money back!
