I stayed in this hotel on January 26, 2005.
Before I booked the room, I called twice to this hotel, and the lady who answered my call told me there is wireless internet in all the rooms. so I booked the room through hotels.
When I arrived, it was 8.30 in the moring, the front desk told me the room I booked has not been ready, and asked me whether I want to take up a smaller room, he told me all rooms are the same, it just size that matter. I was very tired, and I agreed with his suggestion.
After I checked in , I found out that my rooms has no carpet, small bathroom, no ventalisation in the bathroom, no rack for me to put my luggage, smell of the room is bad. the worst thing is that I found out other rooms are nice, clean, carpeted, spaces, and good.
I requested the front desk to change my room, but the reason they gave to me was they sold out all the room and not able to change it for me., but 2 rooms next to mine were checked out and empty.
I got so frustrated, and requested to check out immediately and change to another hotel that 1 block away, and I got a better room with better rate.
I will never come back to this hotel agagin. bad service, empty promises.

I have stayed at a lot of Hotels , some cost alot more to stay at, but i must say my stay at the Waterfront inn Beach Resort was lovely ,it was clean very comfortable,the staff were excellent they could not do enough for you, if anyone goes to Fort Lauderdale try and stay there ,you will love it ,lots of Bars and places to eat near by.

We intended to stay at this hotel for the last night of a 2 week holiday in florida, but eneded upstaying for 5 hours after checking in(4 of which were spent out of the room). The room was possibly the worst we have ever stayed in,and that included a pretty poor room in Egypt. My wife made a list of 35 faults which included the most pungent BO smell that hit us when we entered the room, the distinctly dodgy looking stains on bedspread and the floor, the equally aromatic yellow water that flowed from both taps, the bottom of the bath is indescribable, black mildew on the ceiling, a door that wouldnt lock properly, the list is endless. I also found the staff to be a bit snotty, unco-operative and lacking in customer service skills.It was that bad, my wife wouldnt even sit down on the bed, as this was the only place she could have sat as the room was that small, there was barely enough room to swing the preverbial cat. We ended up driving to Miami, booking into the Hilton in a mini-suite, and all for just $10 more. Dont be fooled by the website or brochures pictures.Spend a bit more and get somewhere a thousand times better

Although the hotel is in need of renovations to the rooms, it nevertheless represents terrific value for money. Excellent complimentary breakfasts, free papers, free internet available all day, super heated pools, very well equipped kitchens, towels changed every day and a super, super staff who could not do enough for us to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. An excellent location well within reach of bars and restaurants but away from noise during the nights.
