I stayed here for 10 nights in January, it was good for the price i paid but not a four star hotel as it claims.
The room was a good size with a random bright blue kitchenette in the corner, it was clean except for the balcony which was filthy with no furniture to sit out on.
The breakfasts were delicious with friendly staff but i would find a restaurant for lunch and tea as the food was poor.
The hotel is far from everywhere ($45 taxi journey from airport), 1 hr bus to bus centre and 45 mins bus to nearest beach.
If you stay in Ft Lauderdale i recommend the buses at $1 a single and $2.50 for a unlimited day pass (you do need exact change for buses) it is so cheap and easy. The central bus station has a system map and each bus carries timetables and routes for each service. The bus drivers are really friendly and willing to help with any queries or problems.
There is meant to be a daily resort fee of $15 for using the pool, newspapers etc but i was only charged $15 for my entire stay.
The showers were quite good pressure wise but were very cold, i complained to front desk about it and a maintenance man came up to check it out and informed me that it was in fact as hot as it got, and that the manager requested he kept the maximum temperature low. When i asked if he could heat it up above lukewarm he said he would try but no promises! The showers were cold for the rest of the week.
There are still some developments going on so expect some building noise during the day.
All in all the hotel was ok for the price but i would advise spending a little more and going somewhere more central that has hot water.
