THis place is nasty. Beware of internet pictures. I do think they are trying to clean up the outside but the rooms are horrible. Mildew on ceiling and bathroom. Sheets felt sandy and comforter dirty. They gave us keys to a room that was already occupied and did not aplogize for their mistake. We just needed a one night stay prior to a cruise. Don't ruin your cruise vacation by staying at this dump!

Rude front desk staff. They told us there were no rooms available before even asking/checking that we had made previous reservations.
Quick room service (re: extra towels).
No free continental breakfast, and attached restaruant over-priced but clean and good service.
One block from beach.
Honest housekeeping staff...they found and turned in my lost wedding rings to management; which were mailed to my home within 2 days at no charge.
Room clean, quiet. A/C worked fine. Decor acceptable. Room was dimly lit with several burnt out / missing light bulbs.
As Priority Club members, we received a goody-bag of snacks and drinks at check in.

When we first got there, it was pretty typical of the other reviews. We opened the door and immediately discovered a leak in the ceiling. We made an immediate about face and went back to the lobby. They immediately gave us a new room on the third floor that faced the semi-ocean view. This room was the opposite of the first room. Obviously, they are doing renovations and some units have been remodeled and others have not. The room we got was fine with the exception of a slow draining shower, which was fixed with a few bottles of drano. This room also had a patio where you could enjoy the partial view of the ocean and sounds of the bar.

Upon arriving to this room, we fell asleep and were awakened by super loud music, lasting from 4-10pm. Apparently, they have live music downstairs only on the weekends. The majority of the area is family oriented. Don't expect silence all the time. You can hear people running outside at times (families, parties, etc.).

From the reviews we read before, we came prepared with antibacterial wipes, which we used, but was really unnecessary because the room was spotless.

The hotel does have beach access, but to be very specific, it's one block away from the beach, which appears nowhere in the reviews or any hotel propaganda.

We had a great time and spent very little money. If you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere. This place is for those of us who like to save money and go to the beach!

Please don't settle for the first room if you don't like it! If you don't speak up, you WILL hate it.

We had booked this room through a time share situation where you get a discount
and in turn you listen to their presentation. It wasn't one of the free ones, we
got the room and a "discount".
The room was dirty, carpet filthy, rust on the door in the
bathroom, rust on all the door hinges, fist size hole in the wall behind the
toilet, elevators were about 120 degrees, seedy area of town. It does have good
access to the beach but the 2 shower heads that are on the walkway to the beach
didn't work. We washed the sand off our feet in a PUDDLE IN THE PARKING LOT!!!
Since we hadn't booked the room directly, we felt we didn't have much choice but
to stay there and switching rooms seemed futile since I doubt that they
would be any different. After the first night we then had our time share
presentation and after much complaining, we finally got them to reschedule our
next 2 nights somewhere else. This is not a place to stay at any kind of discount, let alone full price!
