I want to apoligize for all you people who are reviewing this great hotel. Because a few spring breakers and my daughter getting ill on me I gave this hotel a bad review. It is not the owners fault (Mick) if spring breakers book their reservations on line so he was not prepared when they all came to check in. This is a unique hotel with beautiful artwork throughout the property as well as in the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hopefully we can come stay again

Pictures on the website were an oversell. It's a great hotel if your from a small town visiting but not for locals who want to get away for a few days. There was to much construction going on which made it noisy all day. At night the kids partied to much. (Spring Break) Overall it was an ok hotel but it needs some work. My family won't be coming back.

Tropi Rock resort is a great vacation spot. Mick does a great job of making his customers feel at home and always has a smile and a wave for you when you leave or return from the hotel. My girlfriend and I just returned (March 12th-19th) and we didn't really know what to expect but Mick kept great communication lines open (I had LOTS of questions) and made us really comfortable with our choice. The hotel had a great mix of people in it and while there were spring breakers there we did not find them to be disruptive or obnoxiously loud at any time. And we certainly had no problem lounging at the pool. I can say for a fact that there was myself, my girlfriend, another older couple and a couple families who frequented the pool and at no time did we feel uncomfortable. Our room was spectacular, and the maid service was incredible. They washed our dishes for us which really shocked us! We would recommend this resort for anyone wishing to find a place unlike any hotel or resort. The past review is very deceiving in the picture that it paints of the resort.

I spent the week with my girlfriend here over springbreak. The owner, Mick, was great to us. This man could make you feel comfortable and at home in a dark cave, but he has a tropical resort to offer you instead. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Fort Lauderdale, and I hope to make it back soon myself.
