Me, my girlfriend and our 10 months baby stayed at the TropiRock Resort from feb 14 to feb 22 2004. We really enjoyed our stay; the owners are very nice and helpful. They really care about the customer service.
They provide, free of charge, tennis, internet, sundeck, gym, cable TV, a pool, barbecues, etc. Concerning the hotel, it's very nice and cosy with a lot of trees, plants, fountains, etc. It's very relaxing!! Also, the resort is only one block from the beach and the area is great (restaurants, cafes and stores closeby).So, for the price we paid, it's a great deal. We highly recommend this place.

My family stayed at The Tropi Rock on Feb 12/04 for four nights. I wish I could have stayed longer. The rooms are so unique and clean. The Tropical atmosphere at the pool and on the sun roof deck were great.
The owners were so kind to us. I have never stayed at a hotel where the customer service was so important to the people running it. This hotel is a jewel and must be seen. We will be returning next year and I hope your stay was is enjoyable as ours. The beach is close and you feel very safe and comfortable there

With two young children, we needed a place close to the beach and quiet (nap times). The ownership, Mick and his wife and children were all super friendly. The rooms were clean. The pool really is heated to a comfortable level. BBQ's and our efficiency made for convenient meals.
The tennis courts and ping pong killed some down time. The only problems are the old style elevator that is small, slow and difficult to handle with kids, a communication gap with the housekeepers, some of whom are nice and others who are... and the hotel is located in an area where the beach is small and crowded. We loved the hotel itself as well as the artistry. Mick is the best owner and this is the place for you if you are not a fan of the sterile chain hotels.

Tropi Rock is not a Marriott or a Hilton. It is darned good value, clean and tidy, pretty and the owners were very friendly and more helpful than water in a desert. The pool area is small but attractive and the place is a 2 min walk from beach. Our room was a good size and decorated with 50s & 60s adverts and paraphernalia - which won't be to everyone's taste, but we found it quite interesting. Make sure you visit the sundeck up top - Mick could make more of this - the view is fine, including the sea. Although I saw a tripadvisor review in which they apparently expected to see the Hanging Gardens of Babylon or somewhere! For a 100 dollars, you'll not find better.
