I was planning a trip to Ft. Lauderdale for my 17 yr old daughter and myself. After reading the rave reviews for Tropi Rock Resort I decided to give them a call. I spoke with Mick who is the owner and made our reservations. Mick is a real pleasure to talk with, all in all we probably talked for 30 minutes, he gave me some great recommendations of things for my daughter and I to do while we were there. He even gave me his honest opinion on so not so great things. I made our reservations for Sept. 18-23. Well Hurricane Isabel decided to set her sights on us and I had to cancel my reservations late on the 17th. I was fully expecting to lose my deposit because of the short notice. They would not hear of that and offered me a full refund and said they fully understood. WOW !! That doesn't happen often! Our town suffered $150 million in damage from Hurricane Isabel but you can bet as soon as we get back on our feet we WILL be staying at the Tropi Rock Resort! Thanks Mick and Family !!!

Our company had an outstanding corporate event with 120 people at their property this May and we stayed at the hotel as well. Best service and friendliness, the rooms are very nice painted and decorated(try the honeymoon suite), very clean, relaxing and headache-free atmosphere, close to restaurants, entertainment, day cruises, airport, beach. I heard it is called the best kept secret in Ft. Lauderdale.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 4 nights and we were so sad to leave because we know we will never stay at a more interesting or unique hotel. Everything about this hotel is so interesting it was one of my favorite places to visit in Ft. Lauderdale! A very sweet family runs this hotel and the owner, Mick works around the clock everyday, so if you stay here please keep that in mind before running to the front desk for your every need. All in all this was my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at and would definitly stay here again! Thank you Mick!

I stayed at Tropi Rock this past July for 4 days after reading and beleiving the reviews. I was sure glad I did. Not only is Tropi Rock in a great location, close to the beach and alot of super restaurants and bars but it has more going for it than I could imagine. It is super clean, awesomely decorated, has a super pool, good size rooms, neat gardens, great privacy and perhaps the best owners, consierge, staff and family I've known. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming that by the time I left I felt as though I had been going there for years. I know I will be sure to stay there next time I'm back in Ft. Lauderdale.
