This was most likely my last stay in a Westin. While Westin leads with its heavenly bed and modern decor, my past visits to 4 different Westins have been dismal.
This particular stay shows that a nice bed won't make up for overall lack of attention to detail and cleanliness.
After a smooth check-in, I take the elevator up to my floor to find a hallway with dirty dinged up walls and corroded door locks. After getting into the room, the bathroom is very dated with old tile which is broken in several areas, and the water coming out of the faucet was brown!! The toilet was dirty as well, with brown stains inside of it. Outside of the bathroom, the carpet was stained.
The $15 grilled shrimp salad I ordered from room service had 3 shrimp on it.
This hotel is no where near what a 4 star hotel should be. Avoid it unless you get a REALLY low price. The people at Westin really need to step up their hotels to be TRUE 4 star hotels. Right now, most of them are mediocre, but have a nice bed, which doesn't make you a 4 star hotel.
On the good side, it is right next to interstate 95, the staff was friendly, and you could self park for free.
