“Gezat view, terrible hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2014 via mobile

Old, dirty, worn down hotel, outdated, unhygenic. Sheets were about the only clean thing in the hotel. Shower dirty and full of mold, lots of hair on the floor, a/c extreemly noisy, etc etc( the list is to long) . Evening staff was ok, morning staff terrible. View is great from the front room, but other than that a hotel to be avoided

This is one of the nastiest motels I have ever stayed in. I Know we sometimes really want to visit a place and make sacrifices for a lower price but don't do it... I wouldn't stay in this cockroach hotel ever again, even if it was 20 dollars a night. My feet got black from walking on the carpet, the tub was clogged, so I had to take a shower with my feet on the ledges of the tub, holding on to the shower rod, to not touch the filthy water ( I'm sure it's hard to imagine ) and the worse thing of all, the guy at the front desk banged on our door and broke into our room in the morning, with us still sleeping... on top of having to cover ourselves, we almost had a heart attack to see some crazy guy in our room screaming that it's checkout time...I told him we want a late checkout and that I will pay the difference when we wake up and get ready and he said no, it has to be right now, so I had to go in my pajamas half asleep to pay 60 dollars for an extra 2 hours in that piece of garbage. This is the type of motel, nightmares are made of... there are no words to describe, the horror of staying in this dump.

Room Tip: There are no good rooms

while yes this hotel isn't the best, it is literally the best view from a hotel at the price. You are paying $60...did you expect room service at that price? You are 20 steps from the ocean, 30 steps from restaurants, and 40 steps north of a shopping strip. You could not get better than that. The hotel even has a pool when you are too scared to cross the street and go into the ocean. You are on vacation. You get a hotel to sleep and shower in. You are out and about 95% of the time. As long as your door locks, has beds, and a working shower...why are you complaining.
AWESOME HOTEL

Room Tip: Ask for the corner room on the second floor

Front desk service forget about it doesn't exist. the room itself was absolutely appalling.the bathwater was the color of urine they look like something from a movie. the room was dirty and had no electricity. the bathroom had no lights.orange extension cords drew electricity from the room next door.the bathtub water was clogged all day everyday. the front desk smelled something like a barn. hands down the worst experience ever. save your money and go elsewhere.

DO NOT STAY here -- standards are appalling and the place is filthy & a health hazzard - customer care is non existent -- wouldnt even attempt breakfast after seeing the colour of the water -- Broken window boarded up with cardboard (room 203) - probably after a break in - the only time in the USA when I have felt vulnerable.
The location is right onto the beach which is beautiful - is the only good thing I can say.

Room Tip: DONT GO THERE -- much better places if you look for them -- we arrived late at night after a long da...

The location is great if you want a budget hotel across from the beach . It`s not the cleanest place in the world , it`s not the friendliest place in the world but it`s cheap and well located . You can walk to restaurants , drug store , grocery etc...
Our balcony door was broken , we feared our luggage might be stolen but all things considered we were fine and so were our belongings ...
Really the location is so great that this old dump should be tore down and something new erected . I mean it`s just down the street from the Ritz , Hilton and Westin and popular restaurants ... The realestate is prime !

We thought just one night could not hurt.... boy were we ever wrong. I travel the world and have stayed in places in worst conditions but this one tops them all. Yes its old and run down. Yes it has bugs. Yes it needs a million $$$ make over. They claim a new owner bought and plans on upgrades but wanted to keep it open to make a few $$$. I had no problem with all the pro lems since we were leaving for a cruise this morning however... we ran 3 tubs of bath water that was brown and yellow. When I complained the first maintance man said he could get the room chgd. No go I am leaving for a cruise. The second guy comes and sez it could be a pipe issue somewhere talk to Denise the manager. Denise advises both guys told her that there was no problem. I showed her the pictures she stated she did not care about any pictures this is Miami and everyone has yellow water. She had the worst attitude as a manager and flat out said she did not care. She refused to adjust the rate. This place is a dump the wifi does not work, tv does not work, bugs everywhere and they must have bought the mattresses from old hotels. Its not worth it... RUN!!!
