I stayed here with my boyfriend for a night. We wanted to be closer to the beach but everything was booked. It was an ok place for kind of last minute. If you need a place to be "romantic" for a night and sleep, then its nice. During the day, you have to walk quite a bit to the cool shop on the beach. I didn't feel very safe, esp with some shady europeans that were staying there. I was approached by a drunkard at night speaking french. The owner/manager seemed really money hungry when we checked=in and although i tried to make conversation he seemed pressed for time.
the room was very basic, the windows concealed very little and the bathroom was kinds dingy, though i must admit that for the most part the room was clean. It was medium noise level, at least no screaming or music. I slept pretty well.
for those complaining about the looks, i honestly think the place was as adequate as any beach house would be. the air circulated very nicely and the it felt like you could get fresh air.
But I must say the price should be a little lower, even if it is "close" to the beach. its not that close and the room isn't that nice for what you pay.
its great if you're cheap, not picky, not grossed out, and young looking for adventure. they have a decent pool and little tables but parking was kinda hard, plus the place is very 1950's old fash and needs some renovation.
