This was an amazing place to spend my time in Fort Lauderdale. Tennis courts, yacht club, beach front, pool, pool side bar, great restaurant, very very very attentive staff. Bedroom was VERY clean, new bedding, felt like I was at home here. The beach view room was also unbelievable.

I was checked in by a guy named Darvis, very kind, warm welcome to start my stay.

I had the opportunity to talk to the General Manager Glenn Spanier who was extremely personable and kind.

Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking at places in Fort Lauderdale. Biggest bang for your buck and for me it was a great relaxing experience.

Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the Bahia Mar Resort. Great Location. Close to everything. The Beach Place was a quick 10 min walk. The beach is a stones throw away. The pool area was immaculate. The staff was friendly. The room was great. My only complaint was when we arrived at 350 pm,(check in is at 4pm) I was told my ocean front king bed room was not ready and to check back in 10 mins. It took an hour to finally get into the room. Apparently some rooms werent ready. I'm not an impatient person. To some thought this would have been a big pain in the butt. My wife was a bit mad. The lady at the front desk was very nice though and she kept me informed that I was still a priority as other guests tried to check into their king bed rooms. The food at the pool bar was good. The hours of operation at the market deli could use some tweaking. Its only open til 7pm. I've stayed the Sheraton Yankee Trader north of this hotel and the Bahia Mar is much nicer, cheaper and worth visiting. I will be making this hotel my place of choice for future vacations to Fort Lauderdale.

The room was nice, with a good view of the ocean and marina. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable so I slept well. The staff were very helpful and I had no waiting in line for anything. The hotel is very convenient to a nice beach, swimming was great.

The room carpet was soiled and not very nice. I felt it was somewhat expensive for what I got, but everything else was pretty good.

Just had a weekend stay at The Bahia Mar Beach Resort, with our kids. The Hotel was very comfortable and the hotel staff was great . It was perfect ,and had everything i needed to keep the children happy, it is located right across from the Fort Lauderdale beach, so i had a choice of pool and beach, a great deli on site which severed great sandwich at a great price. The Hotel is on a Marina so we also took advantage of a fishing trip and than a tour of Fort Lauderdale.
The Hotel had a small downstairs lounge where we where able to grab breakfast and dinner, I enjoyed the food they served very traditional and server was very nice.
I give my experence there 2 thumbs up and if anyone needs a great place to stay i would highly recommend staying there
