Stayed at the Bahai Mar 2 nights pre-cruise & 1-night post cruise.
Good location for catching the canal ferry ( stop #7) , going to the beach, & eating at Bubba Gump Shrimp . Rooms were updated but still looking their age. Elevators very slow + creaky. Stayed both times in a "partial ocean balcony" , south facing tower rooms on floors 12 + 8 ; watched the cruise ships leaving on a Saturday + Sunday afternoon from our balconies.
Attached to the marina building is a deli / convenience store. Better prices for breakfast than lobby restaurant. Nice outdoor pool & grill / bar area for relaxing & having lunch.
A van to cruise ship was $7 / pp & to the airport was $10/ pp. Same pricing as cab would cost / couple.
Would stay here again.
