Stayed for 3 weekend nights over Memorial Day weekend to attend a wedding. They do a great job with weddings. The beach was very clean. The rooms were a good value for the price (although we did have a group rate), especially with the oceanview balconies. The BEST part of this resort is the spa. Guests who get a spa treatment have access to a private spa pool and jacuzzi. It was quiet and a nice alternative to the big pool for all hotel guests.

We just got back from the Marriott and all I can say is WOW! we stayed there for 12 days and cannot find one thing to complain about.Yes the drinks by the pool are pricey and yes parking is expensive but they find a way to compensate for that.They provide you with ice cold drinking water by the pool and the beach.They even offer you bottled water when you enter or exit the hotel.At 1:30 the come around and give you free cookies and lemonade they kids love this and so do the adults.You can purchase a souvenir glass for $12 that you can refill with soda and lemonade for the duration of your stay. The starbucks is very convenient and priced the same as any other starbucks plus you can charge to your room.One thing I really liked is that they do not nickel and dime you it is what it is,if the price is $15.00 that's what you'll see on your bill no extra charges and service charges that add up.Breakfast is pricey but worth it.Starbucks is another alternative for breakfast.

The hotel is spotless we were walking to our room one day and noticed sand in front of one of the rooms and about 30 seconds later we heard the vacuum cleaner.Asked for a small fridge and had it in about 1 hour. Our room was on the 11th floor and we had an ocean/pool/city view . The view was fantastic especially at night you even see the cruise ships coming in. The room was very spacious one king with a small pull out.One thing I was super impressed with were the people working at the hotel.From the front desk,to the pool area ,beach and restaurants everyone was ALWAYS very helpful and went out of their way to help out.The pool area was always kept clean which cannot be very easy especially when it rains on and off and guests go in and out .One thing I loved about this hotel and anyone who has stayed there will agree that every time you walk in the hotel you feel like you're walking into a spa ,you get this beautiful scent.The hotel is very busy especially on the weekends which is great for people watching.One thing my 3 year loved was movie night by the pool Friday and Saturdays ,you watch a movie on a big screen while you swim (you feel like you're at disney world).

We had an amazing honeymoon at this beautiful resort. It was soooo relaxing and calming. We had an ocean front room with a great view of the ocean and pool and patio. The pool area waterfalls provide a calming effect for relaxation. Every day when we woke up we went to the well equipped fitness center. Then we headed to the beach and pool. We had lunch by the pool some days and enjoyed the delicious frozen drinks. Some days we had lunch at the Riva restaurant where we REALLY enjoyed the quesadillas- best ones around! We took a nap in the luxorious hotel room bed every afternoon and then headed for dinner up A1A. One night we dined at 3030 Ocean which was elegant and impressive. Every evening we loved sitting outside on the patio by the fireplaces. To hear the ocean waves while staring at the fire was so amazing. One night there was an event going on and a steel drum band performed while we sat out there. It was so fitting for the location. We also saw a Hawaiian dancer show performed on the patio which we viewed from our balcony that night. We had a beautiful honeymoon filled with sun and fun. All staff members were gracious and helpful. The bellhop who helped us to our room the first day (Joey) made sure we had everything we needed and he gave us many helpful tips. We met other bellhops in the elevators and all were just as friendly. This is truly a great place that strives to be the best. You should go!!!!!!!!!

For those of you who are second guessing whether to stay at the Harbor Beach Marriott, please relax and get booking! I too was one of those searching on the internet trying to find the best deal i could. It may be a little more money than other hotels on the beach but it is worth every penny. You have your own PRIVATE beach which is so nice cause your not sharing with every Tom, Dick, and Harry in Ft. Lauderdale! Everyone makes you feel so welcome. The service is impecable. We brought snacks from home and took them to the beach in order to save a little money on food. I wouldn"t bother renting a car due to the $27 a day for parking. You can walk or rent a cab. It is much cheaper! The bedding is wonderful, we slept like babies! Truely a WONDERFUL place to stay!!
