Excellent, I`ve not a bad thing to say about our stay here. When we arrived the bell man couldn`t have been more helpful even though we weren`t valet parking. We checked in early, the staff were polite and efficient. The bell man delivered all our luggage to our room whilist we were parking the car and I was expecting him to be hanging around for a tip when we got to our room but he wasn`t which I was pleasantly surprised by.

The hotel was modern and chic which some people find a bit sterile but I loved it, it constantly looked clean and shiny. The air con was so powerful that it was a massive relief when coming in form the florida heat.

The room was stunning, it looked out over the pool and was huge. The bed was extremely large but looked small in the room - a little sad but I was really impressed with the iHome docking station in the room - the balcony was a good size. The bathroom was large enough and the shower was brilliant. We were given plenty of towels for our use. The room and the hotel was spotlessly clean at all times. There was a fridge which came in handy and if you wanted to stay in there was a flat screen TV. There was some renovation work happening on the main walkthrough but this didn`t affect our stay at all. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and by far find this the best. We weren`t travelling with children so I can`t comment on balcony safety etc. but I wouldn`t advise they go anywhere alone as its open to the harbour obviously to allow yachts to moor so there is quite a water hazard.

The pool was glorious and very clean with plenty of beds provided. The concierge and again the bell man were friendly and more then helpful with getting cabs for us and giving us extensive recommendations for places to eat.

The staff working at the pool bar were helpful although one a little grumpy but otherwise they were friendly and helpful.

The china grill I heard good things about the food but as its a hotel I thought it a little overpriced.

Location was excellent for both the airport and the port. I wouldn`t recommend trying to walk to the beach or shopping as its a little far but the hotel is located well for the water taxi which drops you near both.

The only down side was that you do get free wifi it was $10 a day and car parking was $18 a day which I thought a little steep.

We had early check out which went smoothly they had charged us extra days parking but we more then happy to rectify and it was sorted immediately.

Overall I can not fault my experience, it was excellent and I wouldn`t hesitate to stay again or recommend this hotel.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews because I figure if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Also, it was the Forth of July weekend, so I am sure that things were a bit more rowdy than usual. I am going to leave out the gruesome details because I am sure what I saw was not an everyday occurrence. I tried not to let what we saw hinder our view on the hotel but, we did check out early because of it and it did leave a bad impression on us.

The things I would like to point out are that this is not really a child friendly hotel. The hotel itself is very chic and modern looking. It looks new and fresh. The front desk staff was adequate. We were traveling with a baby and there was no room for the crib. We had to move a bench type piece of furniture out on the balcony. The room was very small. Even if I had not been traveling with a child the room still would have been small. There really was no space for your luggage and the closet was very small. You could barely turn around in the room. I should also point out that there was no bath tub, just a shower.

The location was convenient to the water taxi, which took you to the beach or Las Olas. Also, the views from the balcony were spectacular.

To sum it up, if you are traveling for business I would recommend the hotel not for families though.

This review is ONLY for people with small children:
We stayed at this hotel 2 times. The railings on the balconys are very short, and my friend fell from the 9th floor. He is alive, amazingly. But I just felt it my responsibility to tell anyone out there, if you have kids, please do not allow them on the balcony alone. Be careful. Other then this, The hotel is awesome and I would reccomend to any couple going on a romantic vacation.

Thank you for the great service provided. I wanted to give thanks especially to JENNIPHER, who works at the Antea's Cafe..she provided me with half a cup of hot water for my son's formula, throughout my stay, and everytime I asked her for one....You have a great employee on her...
..Thanks Jen again....

We stayed here while at a convention. There is no hotel closer to the convention center and it made it easy to go back and forth between the two.
They have done a fabulous job renovating this hotel. The public spaces are stunning and the pool area is delightful. The rooms are among my favorite ever. Tasteful and modern with nice touches. I liked the frosted sliding doors to the closet and bathroom and the shower like rain falling from the ceiling was great. The HD tv was wonderful and the decor soothing. When we first checked in we were given a 2nd floor room overlooking the parking lot. We asked to be changed and for $70 more per night we were given a penthouse with wrap-around balcony overlooking the intracoastal, downtown Ft Lauderdale, the beaches and the ocean beyond. The top floor room balconies are larger and the wrap-around effect was terrific. We spent quite a bit of time on the balcony watching the fabulous yachts go by. It was wonderful.
The room service food and the poolside food was excellent and pricey but not outrageous. The China Grill (a chain, not part of the hotel) had excellent food but the prices were quite high.
We loved this hotel and would stay here again in a heart-beat.
