My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a training session. We are travel agents. We absolutely loved the hotel!!

It is beautiful. the lobby is filled with beautiful plants, trees, small decorative bridges, ponds. We were there for 4 days. There was a wedding everyday but one. The lobby is so beautiful it is a perfect background for a wedding.

The pool is also beautiful with a waterfall also. However we were too busy with classes to ever get in the pool. Our room was great. The furniture looked new, it was well decorated. The maids did a great job cleaning everyday.

Being a travel agent I get to see a lot of different hotels. Some hotels I would not recommend to anyone. I believe a bad hotel can ruin a trip.

However I would highly recommend this hotel. The free breakfast was great also.

If you want to be able to go all over Broward County, this hotel is perfect for Hollywood access (just down US1, as is Jai Alai for poker), and right onto the 595, an very convenient artery to get to I-95. Anywhere else on the beach and you are looking at a long drive west to get on 95. Real close to FLL airport, too.

Traffic ease aside, the hotel is gorgeous, quite new, I loved the sauna and pool. The food is good and close to great restaurants.

Bottom line: you can stay on the beach, sure... but not at such a nice property that gives great service and puts in a position to go all over South Florida.
