Not as noisy as some people have stated. I stayed on the back side of the hotel closet to the railroad tracks and only noticed the trains around 8am. Could barely here them in the background.

Bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows and covers. Bathroom was nice and very clean. Only paid $57 tax included for a King non-smoking.

Only downside I saw was the free internet is very slow and I stayed on the 4th floor so you had to climb all those stairs.

“good for the price”

Days Inn Oakland Park/Interstate 95

When checking in the lady at the front desk was very helpful. The area looked a bit sketchy but minimal sketchy activities observed other than a raccoon that jumped out of the bushes at us. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired and after the first morning we opted out of that. We stayed a total of 4 nights, for $40/night (pretty good for the price). When we entered the room and turned on the a/c it was a bit stuff but by the second night the room atmosphere was fresh. Sheets and Bed were very clean as was the rug and floor.

I am big on shower cleanliness and was surprised at the clean tub as well as the pressure changing shower nozzle. I am finicky in showers so I am happy to say there was no cringing when I used it.

If you are as specific as I am, some of the fixtures were showing wear and tear. Elevator area is a bit sketchy and dirty but functioning.

We stayed in an odd room which put us on the back side of the hotel (facing away from the highway). I didn't notice the train noise, but then again I am a heavy sleeper, however my daughter was woken at 830 each morning by it.

Overall, its very close to I-95 which makes it very convenient to go south or north. Other guest around us were quiet and respectful and we had no disturbances.

This hotel seems to be a drug dealer place and a prostitute pit stop. There were cars blasting their music outside at 10:00 - 11:00 at night. There were people running outside of our room screaming and laughing all through out the night. The room stunk like cigarettes and i dont know what else. Upon arriving and turning the sheets down to go to bed we found rat/mouse poop under the sheets. After swallowing your pride and trying to sleep you're awaken by the noise from the disrespectful other guests and the freight train that runs run behind and side of this Motel. The carpets are filty. The staff will wake you up at 5 - 6 am from their talking and laughing right outside your door people walk by your windows banging on them. Then you have to deal with the stale and disguisting free breakfast with the rude staff. the walls have holes in them along the floor I am not a picky person but will not recommend or stay in this place ever again in my life even if it was the last place on earth

Staff was professional and helpful. Rooms were good as a budget choice. Pool was nice.

BUT

ALL NIGHT LONG trains raced by blasting their horn - at least one an hour. if you plan on sleeping - book a room somewhere else!

We stayed two different nights here and the fire alarm went off both nights between 4-7 a.m. and contintued for about an hour or more until the fire department showed up, it was so terrible. There is a train right next to the hotel that goes by every 15-30 minutes that if you are a light sleeper would wake you up all the time. Hotel is close to the interstate and there is honking all the time! Not a hotel to get a good night sleep. On our first night we found blood on a pillow and the sheets were stained. The second night we stayed we found old hot pockets in the freezer and a dresser drawer full of garbage. The floors were not swept at all. The workers at the front desk were terribly rude, but if you do have any troubles we found the manager was very nice. Don't plan on getting a good night sleep here it is very noisy and I did not feel safe here at all.
