Now after reading some of the reviews on here before I went to Ft. Lauderdale I was a bit nervous to say I even wanted to stay here. We ended up getting room 515 which turned out to be quite nice. We didn't have any bugs, no leaks from the ceiling or toliet, and yes it was quite noisy due to I-95 being right next door, almost. But if your actually tired that noise doesn't bug you at all. I found the gas station right next door to have some of the cheapest gas prices which was great. The rooms smelled good after our cleaning lady was done, like lemons. Never saw any bugs anywhere near that place, thankfully.

The pool wasn't clean but I didn't need to worry about that since the water was freezing cold. You could still lay around & sun tan by the pool very lovely looking. The had free breakfast every morning from 7am-10am or something like that. You had to tell the front desk if you had a car because they gave you a parking pass. Good security that walked around the building during all hours of the day. Very friendly staff when we did see them.

But the odd thing about this hotel is how some people lived there all the time? I don't know but those people did not bug you or make any noise. It was a bit loud on the weekend since it seemed everyone was drunk but out of the 5 nights I stayed only the Friday & Saturday seemed to be really annoying. Since we were so close to downtown. If you timed it good and didn't drive near the hotel at bad traffic time, it works out better that way you won't miss the hotel. That might happen since coming from I-95 you can't see any signs.

If I were ever to go back I would stay here for sure.

  • Liked — it was right off the highway very easy to find
  • Disliked — no signs telling you that it's there when coming from I-95

I booked this room online and got a cheap rate - you get what you pay for. I basically walked into my room and got the phone book out to get a room somewhere else. It smelled terrible, was dirty, and there were people in the parking lot fixing their cars - it seemed really unsafe. On the bright side, the guy at the front desk was more than accomodating and even helped me map my new hotel online before I left. I think even he understands how crappy it is...

Reading others' reviews I checked the address again to see if I really did stay at the same place ! I had no problems, except for a bit of traffic noise from the I95 a couple of hundred metres away. I did not expect The Ritz but the accommodation was perfectly adequate for my needs. Room large and clean. Breakfast basic but again adequate. Clientele seemed to lean towards construction workers in pickups. Would go there again.

We stayed here despite the previous reviews, as we were going on a cruise and hotels were scarce... We expected a real dump, but were pleased to find it was old but clean, ( not a bug or mildew in sight) with a fridge and microwave and a very nice pool..New bedspreads....What do you expect for under $100 in Ft. Lauderdale in Feb. ????? It certainly was not the Ritz, but for the location and price it was quite O.K. Our friends room did have a slight odor, but ours did not, and we stayed there twice.(before and after our cruise)

My girlfriend was getting married and everybody in the bridal party had to stay in Hell (The Days Inn) for 3 nights. The rooms were smelly and of course there was a roach infestation.Room service only made the bed, the soda can and the wrapper from my sandwich were still in the room after they left. The shower only gave HOT water .One elevator was broken and for the other one if you wanted to go to the fourth floor you would have to hit 4 and 5 or else it would not move. The carpet looked really dirty and the shower curtain was nasty as nasty can be.PLEASE,PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT DO this to yourself its just NASTY!!!
