“Awful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

My family and I arrived at this motel in the evening after driving for 6 hours. This place was not what I was expecting. The check in was decent. The elevators greeted us with graffiti and damaged panels. When we opened the door to our room, we were disgusted by the smell of stale cigarette smoke that never went away. The room was old and felt filthy. I made my kids wear their shoes the whole time unless in bed. The sheets had holes and the walls had random pieces of hair stuck to them. I would never recommend this hotel (more like motel) to anyone. I felt misled by their online advertising. Although it's not so expensive, I wouldn't stay there for free.

Where do I begin....we got to the hotel at about 7p.m., after fighting with the attendant in the lobby for almost an hour my husband finally came out and said they didn't have our priceline confirmation. I had been sitting in the van the entire time with our 21 month old, and 4 year old who were screaming the last 30 minutes because they are starving. We thought we would quickly be in and out, WRONG! So we left to go get something to eat and to give priceline a chance to send confirmation. Grabbed some fast food, at this point we are all starving. Got back to hotel at about 8:45. Still no reservation. Husband calls priceline, they said they sent the confirmation over 2 hours ago. They get on the phone with attendant, she's arguing with them. While my husband is trying to get our room two other people come in with priceline reservations, guess what.....they don't have any reservations for them either! Come to find out, Quality Inn receives their confirmations from priceline via fax, and their fax machine is broken! The desk employee was so disrespectful and rude. Finally, priceline e-mailed them the confirmation. The gave us a room, and it was nothing special. The bed was hard, the microwave didn't work because there wasn't an outlet anywhere near enough to plug it in. The shower faucets were plumbed wrong, so "cold" was actually"hot" and vice versa. The TV didn't have one clear channel on it. So we just went to sleep the best we could. Next morning we got up went to desk to check out and possibly have breakfast. No, we couldn't do that either. There were 3 , 2 person tables, and chairs lined up around the wall for everyone else. There were about 15 people trying to eat in an area smaller than our room. No thanks, I just drove up the street to a cafe. Terrible service, and accommodations!

Where oh where do I begin-filthy,only the hot water would work, the springs were broken in one of the beds, the sheets had hair left on them, there where pills left on the bathroom floor from somebody else, felt very very unsafe from the crowd of people hanging out in the parking lot playing loud music, when it came time to tell them what time we needed our shuttle, which we asked to leave at 10:30 am because our check in time for our cruise was at 11 am they said our shuttle would pick us up at 1:30 pm! The lobby was dirty there was not even enought drinks or breakfast food to feed everyone that was staying at this hotel, plus the manager of this property still has not retuned my phone call and it has been 4 days now... If I had a pet rat I would not let it stay at this property...

Room Tip: Do not stay at this property

Fortunately we booked a room ahead of time for one night to be close to the airport for an early am flight home. The price would have been more than double if we would have waited until we got there. Check-in was a complete fiasco. People were coming back saying that their room hadn't been cleaned yet.The staff was definitely overwhelmed. My wife paid with her credit card and luckily she noticed that they had given her someone else's credit card back. When she told them of the error, all they wanted to do was argue that "No, they didn't". She spotted another woman still at the counter with her card and resolved the matter herself. We put up with a lot of people outside our room playing loud music and singing until I had had enough at 2 am. I called the office to tell them it had been going on for too long and I couldn't sleep. They said they would send the manager. 10 minutes at the longest, it was as if someone shut off a switch as it was completely quiet the rest of the night. A fraction of the cost of other hotels in the same proximity of the airport.

this hotel was horrible. we stayed there the night before our cruise as well as the night after.

on the morning of the cruise, we had to check out of the room at 11am, but they wouldn't take us to the cruiseport until 12:30. so we waited in the lobby with 2 young kids for an hour and a half. then this girl with a clipboard at the shuttle tried to sell us "tickets" that were stickers so that the shuttle company could easily see us when we come back. I went to the front desk to ask them about this since they advertise it as free. the guy at the front desk said we didn't need a ticket/sticker and to just call the hotel and they'd pick us up 20 minutes later. ok, fine.

we get back from the cruise and called the hotel at 9:30am to be picked up. 2 hours and four phone calls (one of which the front desk person hung up on me) later, the shuttle finally came and picked us up. we left the port and the shuttle driver got another call for a pick up, so we had to go back to the cruiseport! we finally got back to the hotel at 12, however, they wouldn't let us check in until 3. we found a tour co. to pick us up, however, the hotel had no place to store our luggage, except the lobby because they were holding church until 2! the front desk lady told us they would move our luggage into the room at 2. when we got back from the tour at 4, our bags were still sitting in the lobby.

I could go on and on, the place was gross and I feel totally "taken" for paying $200 for the first night and $100 for the last.

We had to scramble to find a place due to flight cancellations and changes. A family member made the reservation for us because it was near the cruise port and we were leaving the next day. We didn't check in until about 1:00 am(thank goodness for that) because it was less time in the room. The first impression was the graffiti in the elevator and then room was no better. It was old and run down. The bed seemed clean enough but carpet was really questionable. The room wasn't cheap either. It was about $130.00 once we were done. We have stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels cheaper than that.

1. Shuttle from cruise to hotel took 2 1/2 hours of us standing in hot sun to pick us up (they said they would be there in 1/2 hour).
2. Rooms not ready to check into until 3 pm so we sat in crowded lobby until 3:05 pm.
3. Extremely harried staff at desk, not very pleasant.
4. Price we were quoted over the phone was not met, we paid $40 more per room then told when we made reservation.
5. Room was awful! Furniture falling apart, bathroom door that wouldn't shut, smelled musty, no pillow top mattresses (which hotel claimed), it was so gross I checked for bedbugs immediately.
Will not ever stay here again!
