This hotel offers basic accomodations, lots of amenities, and a party atmosphere. The prices are very low, so the rooms do not include extra luxury. The beds are basic, the room and bathroom are pretty small, there is a small desk, a small refrigerator, and a nicely working TV. The air conditioner is a bit loud, but will keep you cool. We stayed in the main part (by the restaurant, pool, and hot tub) on the second floor with a view of the hot tub and in close range to be able to hear the live music. They also have some rooms in another building across the street. If you want quiet I would recommend asking for a room in the other building, but if you want extra convenience and don't mind the live music (which is pretty good but plays kind of late), ask for a room in the main part. Each room on my floor had a little bench outside the door which was nice to hang out on. Like I said, there's a fridge in the room, and the gift shop sells soda, beer, and can coolers; plus they let you bring a beverage down to the pool or hot tub with you if you want. Or, there is a bar by the pool and also one between the hot tub and the restaurant, where they sell surprisingly delicious and fairly reasonable drinks. The restaurant is not fine dining, but is right on the water with a great view, and everything we ordered was very good (the menu was similar to a Fridays or Bennigans-type place) and the prices are fantastic. The staff is young and friendly, but given the prices, remember that you won't get five star service. About the hot tub -- it's not hot, and may be inappropriate for children in the evenings depending on the crowd (it's right by the bar), but adds to the party atmosphere. The pool and restaurant are great for kids, but there aren't a ton of kids so the atmosphere is still relaxing. The crowd around this place was generally 21-45 and middle class.
