I work six days a week and although I live in Hollywood it was so nice to be what seemed miles away from home ,,, We have been here a few times and the staff and office personal is always friendly and helpful... you can t bet the location or price ,, Live bands where fun ,, and food is reasonably priced,

Days Inn Bahia Cabana is a great choice for a hotel next to all things good.
The Bahia Cabana Restaurant/Bar has some of the best food anywhere.
It is located just outside your room right on the water where yahts and fishing charter
boats are (including the Miss Bonita II). Just across the street is the Atlantic Ocean.
You can walk to just about anywhere or enjoy a water boat yellow cab that arrives
in front of the Bahia Cabana that will take you to many other attractions on the water-front.
I haved stayed there many times and always enjoyed every minute.

I love this place, going back for "Boat Parade" Mid December. Last there for the Air Show in MAY 2012. The place is "RUSTIC" guess what that means. OK how about "laid back" If you want first class go somewhere else, even if you want second class do us a favor and go some where else. If you want FUN and a GREAT BAR experience, you are home. People come from the "other hotels" to hang here. Lots of locals too. I always try to get the room next to the Jacuzzie , which happens to be right next to the Bar. Its like having a room at the bar. Actuall two bars, one by the pool and one closer to the hotel lobby. Happy Hour starts at 6AM! Bar closes around 3AM . This place is TOO MUCH FUN. Oh about the rooms, Std room has a small frige, I got exactly 36 beers in mine! But last trip I got the efficency with a full frige, micro wave ,, sink, two queens (beds I mean) The room over looked the pool. It was nice.
The place is VERY OLD, it is OLD time Fort Lauderdale, you won't find any place like this near by. The streach of beach accross from the Bahia has Picnic Tables and Grills right on the beach. Plus you can bus here from the airport (#1 to the 17st causeway, transfer to the #40 get off right in front of the Bahia. See you there!
