“Affordable & at a great location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2011

This hotel was near the beach, the boardwalk & the main strip in Ft. Lauderdale. The food was excellent as were the bartenders. It's not a luxury hotel but it's what you need when you're at the beach. Bill at the front desk was also amazing & made our accommodations wonderful.

My sister and I stayed here for spring break 2011. This was my second time there and I look forward to returning. Great service, great location, clean rooms - but not comfy beds. I had an awesome time there! Best thing for me is convenience. Nice pool, hot tub, restaurant and bar. Live entertainment. Thank you to Loren, Billy, and the other bartenders, "Staff" the bar back, Maria in housekeeping, and Jose at the desk. I look forward to another spring break with all of you.

we had room 130, up high above the bar area, it was noisy with the generators or something outside our bathroom.i slept like a baby, but i was asleep before midnight every night...it was a large spacious efficiency suite, with 2 sinking beds , but comfortable and springy sofabed for our teen to sleep on..i ran into a group of older adult friends who had stayed there for over 3 weeks..i guess it wasnt as bad as the reviews i had read?our maid service was excellent , we left for breakfast at 9 or 10am and she had it done before we came back from eating..the bathroom and room and beds were dated and the kitchenette had a toaster , microwave and fridge that were new..if you want 5star, its not for you, if you want value with location near the beach and a bar/dining area overlooking waterway with boats , its fine..we ugraded to the 2 queen efficiency and were happy with our room...bad point is very little parking and it has to be valet..one car per room..2nd car was $10 extra per night...

My husband and I have traveled extensively and been involved in hotel management properties. In all of our experiences, this hotel defintely ranked first as being the worst place we have ever stayed. It should be closed and definitely inspected for health reasons as well as the way it is maintained. We asked to be moved because the room we were assigned had an odor that permeated the entire room and actually was difficult to breathe the fumes. The next room that we were assigned to was filthy/ the beds actually sunk to the floor when you got into it/ the bedding was dirty. I stayed up most of the night on the couch. At 9:00 in the evening the music started and at 1:30 it stopped/ there was no way that anyone could possibly sleep or not hear this - people yelling/ screaming throughout the evening. The problem with writing a review about a place like this is noone can possibly believe that a Days Inn could be this bad. I have written to ask that our money be refunded and I have had no response from anyone either on the corporate level or from the hotel itself. Because we were boarding a ship the next day, we were not able to immediately contact anyone, but we had our corporate office contact people instead. To this date, noone has answered or responded. Having been in the Holiday Inn business and having inspections on a regular basis and answering clients, we will never stay at another Days Inn. The property is in serious need of an inspection by health authorities there in Fort Lauderdate as well as Days Inn. The air conditioners are definitely a hazard but they don't work anyway - the entire property should be closed, and anyone who has stayed there in the last year should receive some compensation.

I LOVED this place! It was in a perfect location. The restaurant had great food with great prices! The staff were VERY friendly and accommodating and made our stay there for our "BIG" day very memorable. They were eager to help and friendly throughout our stay. I would highly reccomend this place and plan on staying there again for our next vacation!

I asked for a room near the pool. I got a room on the other side of the road. I asked to be moved, no chance and we had 5 nights planned, so we moved to a different hotel. No view, very old, isolated. Not a good place to stay with teen. That being said, for adults maybe. For food, drinks and night life - yes.

We stayed at this hotel as we were training at the Swimming Hall of Fame. The rooms are spacious and most come with a kitchenette, the bathrooms are outdated but clean. The hotel is located right across the road from the beach and close to the shops located along the beachfront area. We had some difficulty with the wireless internet in the rooms, but if you go outside in the courtyard it works fine. Most days our rooms weren't cleaned until the late afternoon, a few of us had an experience with cockroaches. The restaurant offered numerous menu options and has a super view of the channel and marina.
