We book this hotel for 14 nights and believe it or not, we have stayed their for this time. After booking I found this page in the internet and was shocked about the reviews of this hotel. But I have read that the rooms in the fifth floor are ok, so at the check in I told them that I want a room their.
The room was old but clean and no cockroaches the whole time, the only negative thing was, that the lock of the balconydoor was broken, so we felt a little bit unsafe. The pool was not very clean, but who needs a pool with this great beach and atlantic in front of door. Overall I was satisfied with the hotel because of the cheap price. Sure the Hotel is old and worn out, but the holiday was very cheap for us and we could buy a lot of things that are expensive in Germany.

This resort is no resort at all!!!! We reserved a room for 8 nights and only stated one....because the condintions we deplorable.

The first room we were given...had the curtins torn down, the A/C had no controls, it was dirty, etc. We then were moved to the 5th floor & the room was a little better...the curtins would stay up!!!! The down side of that room was their was no A|C in the maze of hallways & elevator to get to it, you had to park at the back of the motel & walk a block around to the front entrance & then walk to the very back of the hotel to the room in 98 degree temps. The only ice machine was out by the pool at the back of the resort, and you had to go the motel next door for vending machines. The pool was very small & extremely dirty!!! The bar & restaurant did not exist, but were advertised !!! The whole resort was dirty & overall run down. This resort is not worthy of even a one star rating!!!! BEWARE of this resort as it is nothing like it is advertised to be!!!!!

My roommate and I wanted to go to Fort Lauderdale for a few days during spring break (so keep in mind we are college students). The Sea Club looked decent on expedia so we made reservations. WHAT A MISTAKE. We arrived at the hotel at around 8 AM (our flight was very early) and they said the room would be ready in two hours. We left our bags (another mistake) behind the front desk and went to the beach. We came back around 11 - still not ready. They said to keep trying. We walked around the area a little - awful. Awful restaurants, bars, no stores - disgusting. Came back to the hotel around 3 - STILL not ready. We sat by the pool (which was next to a construction site and had a dirty sock in it) and waited. Finally around 6:30 our room was ready. It was the dirtiest room I have ever seen. The carpet was gross, the beds were disgusting, the furniture was broken and had holes in it. The "balcony" was dirty, the chairs were broken, and it looked right into the construction next door. The bathroom was awful and there were hairs on the towels. My roommate called the front desk and they sent someone up to give us "new" towels. We decided to shower and a man came to the door while I was in the shower and said the toilet needed to be fixed. My roommate frantically told me to get out of the shower and we had to let this random guy in to "fix" the toilet. Needless to say we called the Doubletree Suites a couple miles south and made sure to get a reservation for the next two nights. We went to bed early that night (all we wanted was to wake up and get out of there) and around 2 AM were woken up by a FIRE ALARM. It is one thing for this to happen in college but not at a hotel. We were scared to leave our bags in the room because we were afraid they would be stolen. When they let us back in our rooms there was a homeless woman standing right outside our room. We piled our suitcases in front of the door for the rest of the night. We woke up at 8 AM and left immediately. I have never wanted to leave anywhere so bad in my life. The cab driver who took us to the Doubletree said he had heard awful things about the hotel and said it was a good thing we were leaving (the CAB DRIVER!). Do not go here, this place needs to be torn down.

A group of us, 10 families, made reservations there for the week of 7/23-7/31. We were warned that it was not a great choice, but decided to try it anyway after being assured by their staff, it was terrific. The website showed a awesome tiki bar and the room picture was great. Upon arrival, 5 families immediately cancelled after checking their rooms and were still charged the night's fee. My family and 2 others checked in and figured we'd try it. What a mistake, the rooms smelled, they had no bureaus for clothes, the toilet water was discolored and we found a roach. So the next morning we 3 checked out. The 2 remaining families cancelled their reservations and followed us down the street to a great place. The tiki bar was under construction so we couldnt use it, but were never told when we called there. Dont make the same mistake as us, the place is the worst place I have ever visited, never mind stayed.

Hotel rooms looked nothing like the photos they provided. My family of 5 (2 adults & 3 kids) reserved a suite. What we got was a hot mess! I'm sad to say our family of 5 checked out 8 hours later. Once arriving to our room we noticed many unpleasant things about our suite. First being the mini refrig. was not clean and parts in the inside was broken. The glass on the coffee table broken around the corners and I have a 2 yrs old daughter. My husband was in the bathroom and bugs were crawling out of the bathtub drain into the tub. The carpet was filthy The door to our room would not close securely to the point that sometimes it would lock when we left. I went to complain to the front desk clerk about the bugs and she said "she would send someone up to spray" saying all this with a can of bug spray on her hand. We checked out 30 min later!
