Upon arrival, the resort seemed great upon check-in but from that point it was downhil. The staff(maids) was rude and hateful and our room was not cleaned until late afternoon and when we requested additional towels, they would not give to us. The restraunt wasn't even open during our stay. The pool/bar/jacuzzi was fine and on the beachfront. The fan in the bathroom didn't even work, not enough lighting in the room, carpet dirty and the balcony overlooked the air conditioning unit that was loud and we couldn't even sit on the balcony PLUS all the balconies joined each other and there was no privacy. Didn't feel safe. The parking lot was across the street and charged $8 per night for parking.
Would not recommend to friends.

My girlfriend and I planned a trip to Forida and we wanted to stay north of Miami Beach. We wanted to be able to REALLY enjoy the beach without all the drama, so I searched and found Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort. I've never heard of this hotel before so I didn't know what to expect, but I must say that they exceeded my expectations! The lobby is beautiful and the front desk staff was very pleasant at check in. The housekeepers that we saw on our floor always smiled and said hi as we walked the hall from the room to the elevator. That's a very small thing that made a big difference. I just felt welcomed by everyone. My room was basic but very clean and comfortable, the microwave and fridge make it so much more comfortable.We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel's restaurant everyday and it was great. Between eating we layed out on the pool deck and on the beach. We drank at the Tiki Bar during the day and I have to mention that Scott the bar tender was faboulous!

Overall, you can't get a better value. Where else can you stay on the beach with a full service restaurant for under $200 a night?It's no 5 star resort, but you can't beat it!

What a gem! Came from Montreal and it was great - staff the freindliest ever. Room nice size and CLEAN! CLEAN! Loved the balconey was able to sit outside and enjoy the sunset. Great to get out of the elevator directly at the pool area without going to lobby. Palm trees, pool, hottub and ocean couldn't ask for more. Restaurant staff was courteous. Went with my husband for a week to relax and came back completely satisfied. Will definately go back next year or maybe before. Excellant value! Excellant location to relax. Heard they had done renovations and was very very pleased with the outcome. Don't listen to other reviews GO instead. Loved it! Loved it! and most important very friendly staff. Congrad's to the Management of this wonderful hotel.

This hotel was just fine. Not a four star, but it is a great value. The room were nice..very nice bedding. The only thing on the negative side is that our bathroom was small. I think those who have written bad reviews were probably in a bad mood and think they should pay motor inn prices and receive the Ritz accomodations. Truth be known, they probably don't live a four star life either.

Great location, great pool area, great value. Friendly staff!

We would not hesitate to stay here again
