This is my second time staying in Ocean Manor. I booked the first time and had quite a few serious problems with the actual hotel, none whatsoever with the unit. I came back because of the location. BEACH FRONT in South Florida, means "across the street" from the ocean...Or sometimes within 5 blocks of the water. This building is OCEAN FRONT, and that means it sits right on the ocean! I almost cancelled my return trip after reading some of the other reviews here. But I stayed for 4 nights in unit 710. The place is spectacular. It has a huge balcony and there is marble on the floor and on every wall, all the way from the floor to the ceiling. I had never seen walls of marble like that, but it was so cool. All the furniture was very heavy and looked expensive. The bathrooms were all marble. There was milk and cookies in the fridge, with a note.
(The people who owned the place knew I missed my flight and would be arriving after midnight.) It just seems like the hotel is like a "3", it is priced like an ocean front "3" and the condo I stayed in could have been in any five star hotel in the country. The sheets, the down comforter, the throw, smelled like Downy and the towels were really big and thick. I paid 249 for the two bedroom per night, and honestly I would have paid 300. It was that nice. Oh, and my television in the bedroom died while I was there, and the owner came to the condo with a 27" inch flatscreen at 10:40 at night , and a giant cookie, that said sorry. I really liked it. Great trip! The valet parking guys were so rude, though. It took 10 minutes to get my car, and the guy went in slow-mo when he saw I was in a hurry. Like a turtle.
